According to the national, provincial, and municipal work arrangements and requirements, Jidong District will carry out the grain stabilization and production increase in 2011, take food production as the primary task of the “three rural issuesâ€, adhere to stable development of grain production, stabilize the area, and focus on yields. Optimize the structure, increase the total output, focus on large towns, large areas, and large households, take scientific and technological advances as a guide, exert advantages, tap potential, and ensure that the total grain output increases from 337,000 tons in 2010 to 324,800 tons in 2011. 0.58 million tons contributes to increasing farmers' income and national food security.
Focusing on the food stabilization and production increase operation, Jidong District will strengthen organizational leadership, implement the responsibility system for food production executives, highlight corn production, and steadily promote corn revitalization plans; earnestly implement the spirit of the Central Document No. 1 this year and vigorously promote farmland infrastructure; Technical guidance and services, implementation of key food production technologies; implementation of various agricultural policies to support agriculture, strengthen support for food production, vigorously carry out activities to create wheat and corn production per kilogram of townships, and promote the steady development of grain production.
This project develops sensors for iron ore grade and automation controls to respond so that variable upgrade ratios can be implemented in the beneficiation plant, delivering a more constant output from the plant and therefore higher on average grades with higher returns. The iron ore industry is experiencing lower grades internationally and this problem is likely to be ubiquitous globally with a consequent large market potential.
