Baosteel's first batch of Total Marine Steel delivered

It is reported that Baosteel's first contract for the international oil giant – Total's offshore steel S355 thick plate was successfully completed in the five-meter production line and delivered to users. The contract will be used for Total's offshore platform project in Nigeria, with a total of more than 1,400 tons, which is the first time Total has purchased steel for offshore platforms in China.
In view of the difficulty in contract production, large batch size, tight delivery time, etc., the product engineer of Baosteel's manufacturing management department took the lead in carefully planning the process plan, formulating detailed plans and exception plans, handing over to the relevant parties, and arranging special personnel to track and coordinate throughout the process. . Under the cooperation of all units in the production line, the problems in the production process were overcome, and the production task was successfully completed in 39 days, and the whole process was tested by users and third parties.
The production of the batch of contracts examined the manufacturing capacity of the steel for the offshore platform of the five-meter thick plate production line, and accumulated the production experience of such contracts, laying a foundation for Baosteel to further enter the international offshore market.
