According to statistics, the sales volume of GM’s passenger car joint venture in Shanghai, Shanghai General Motors, was 548,708 units in the first 10 months, an increase of 46.5% year-on-year. In October, the sales volume was 68,505 units in a single month, ranking first among domestic passenger car companies. An increase of 109.7%.
The total sales of GM Wuling Motors, a joint venture of GM's minivans in China, accounted for 891,285 units in the first 10 months, an increase of 65.9% year-on-year, of which sales in October were 89,416 units, up 78.5% year-on-year. Wuling Light has become the best-selling model in the Chinese auto market. As of the end of October, sales have exceeded 500,000 vehicles.
GM's new joint venture in China - FAW-GM Light Vehicle Co., Ltd. sold 8687 vehicles in October, since its official establishment in August, its cumulative sales reached 17,467 units.
