Cheng Donghong, Vice Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, disclosed in Qingdao a few days ago that in recent years, China's desalination capacity has been continuously enhanced, the scale of direct seawater use has continued to expand, and the seawater utilization industry has continued to develop rapidly. Last year, the added value achieved was 1 billion yuan.
Cheng Donghong said at the 2012 Qingdao International Desalination Conference that the seawater desalination industry is showing great vitality. At present, the total output of seawater desalination in the world has reached an average daily average of 63.48 million tons, which is growing at a rate of 20% to 30% each year, and is expected to reach 56.4 billion U.S. dollars by 2015.
“In recent years, China’s seawater desalination capacity has also continued to increase, the scale of direct seawater use has continued to expand, and the level of industrialization has further increased, and the seawater utilization industry has continued to develop rapidly. With the successive introduction of national support policies and major breakthroughs in various technologies, With the continuous expansion of the industrial scale, the seawater utilization industry has maintained a steady momentum of development. The added value of 1 billion yuan was realized in 2011, an increase of 10.2% over the previous year, Cheng Donghong said.
In February of this year, the “Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Desalination Industry†promulgated by the General Office of the State Council proposed that by 2015, China's seawater desalination daily production capacity will reach 2.2 million cubic meters to 2.6 million cubic meters, which will contribute to the new water supply of the island. The rate will reach more than 50%, and the contribution rate of newly added industrial water supply to the coastal water-scarce areas will reach more than 15%.
Hou Baorong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a researcher at the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, introduced that the cost of seawater desalination technology, including energy, resource costs, and investment costs, is continuously decreasing, which provides very favorable conditions for the effective use of seawater. China began its seawater desalination technology research in the 1980s and now has a complete set of technologies. At present, the proportion of desalinated seawater in China's coastal provinces is the largest, accounting for 37.3% of the country's total, followed by Shandong and Hebei.
According to the data released by the United Nations, China is one of the 13 poor countries in the world. Per capita water resources have only 2,200 cubic meters, per capita freshwater resources are only 1/4 of the world's per capita, and water resources are unevenly distributed. A large number of freshwater is concentrated in the south, and freshwater resources in the north are only 1/4 of the south.
Brucite and Magnesium Hydroxide (Brucite), belongs to the hydrogen and oxygen compounds mineral, chemical formula for Mg (OH) 2, inclusive of our 69.12% MgO style, is the highest mineral in the nature of magnesium content. For trigonal system, granular and block, slab, scaly, lamellar crystal shape, round shape, and color to white, light green, light yellow. Hardness is 2.5. Pyroelectricity. Soluble in hydrochloric acid, no bubbles, shining when burning. Magnesium 2 + of brucite is sometimes Fe2 +, Mn2 +, Zn2 + class quality mixed with instead of, with the increase of iron, manganese, color is darker, higher density, low in molten magnesium stone, low manganese brucite.
