Bridgestone , the Japanese tire manufacturer, announced that its current European board member, Yves Kerstens, vice president of supply chain and IT work, will be the managing director of the company's commercial products division. The appointment will take effect on August 1, 2011.
After taking office, Kerstens will be responsible for managing the company's truck and passenger car , off-highway tires, and agricultural vehicle tire business in the matching and replacement markets. In the future, his work will involve Bridgestone's all market operations in Europe.
