The first stainless steel chemical ship delivery ship of CSIC Chuandong Shipyard

Recently, China's first stainless steel chemical tanker built by CSIC Chuandong Shipyard was officially delivered and put into operation in Nanjing. The completion and use of the ship has filled the gap in China's design and construction of high-tech, high value-added stainless steel chemical tankers, marking the completion of China's chemical tanker construction.

Chemical tankers are recognized as one of the high-tech, high value-added ships in the world of shipbuilding and shipping. The ability to design and build chemical tankers, especially stainless steel chemical tankers, is a sign that companies have a high level of shipbuilding technology and management capabilities. In order to successfully build the first stainless steel chemical tanker, the Chuandong plant mobilized the entire plant to overcome a lot of technical and management difficulties. After unremitting efforts, the ship was finally delivered smoothly. The ship was built in accordance with the standards of Ocean Shipping International and has been highly recognized and praised by China Classification Society, ship owners and the community.

At present, the Chuandong Plant has achieved the order and construction of stainless steel chemical tankers and successfully entered the European market. The factory has been building eight stainless steel chemical tankers. The 12 stainless steel chemical vessels exported to Europe at the end of last year are also about to start. The Chuandong Plant is striving to build a special ship manufacturing base in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and strives to exceed 2 billion yuan at the end of the 11th Five-Year Plan.
