I. Purpose The fruit hardness tester measures the hardness of apples and pears. Direct reading style, easy to carry.
II. Principle Fruit hardness refers to the stress (N) of a force-measuring spring per unit area (S) of the fruit. Their ratio is defined as the fruit firmness (P).
P - measured fruit hardness value of 105 Pa
(kg/cm2)
N - Force N of force measuring spring pressure on the surface of the fruit
Newton (kg)
S - Forced area of fruit
Square meter (square centimeters)
III. Technical data
1. Value range: 0.5 to 15 (×105 Pa)
2. Indication error: ±0.5
3. Indenter maximum stroke: 10 mm
4. Weight: 0.3 kg
IV. Method of use Before measurement: First zero, turn the dial, the pointer and the line 2 overlap, and then use a knife to cut the fruit about 1 square centimeters of skin.
Measure: Hold the hardness tester in the right hand, make the hardness tester perpendicular to the surface of the fruit under test, press the indenter under the force of even force into the fruit, then the pointer starts to rotate, when pressed to the indentation line (pressing 10mm ) Stop, the scale value of the pointer at this time is the measured hardness value.
After the measurement is completed, press the reset button and the pointer will return to zero.
V. Matters needing attention
1. When measuring the hardness, the force should be uniform, and it must not be rotated and pressed in, nor can it be impacted.
2. The indenter is vertical to the surface of the fruit.
3. The instrument and pressure head are kept clean, and the juice is cleaned after the measurement is completed.
4. Open the back cover regularly to inject a small amount of surface oil into the spindle, teeth, jewel eye, and guide groove.
5. The force measuring spring has been calibrated at the factory and it is not allowed to convey the moving nut.

Centrifugal pumps are used to transport fluids by the conversion of rotational kinetic energy to the hydrodynamic energy of the fluid flow. The rotational energy typically comes from an engine or electric motor. They are a sub-class of dynamic axisymmetric work-absorbing turbomachinery. The fluid enters the pump impeller along or near to the rotating axis and is accelerated by the impeller, flowing radially outward into a diffuser or volute chamber (casing), from which it exits.
