Bimetal thermometer specifications working principle
The bimetal thermometer is based on a bimetallic strip wound into a loop shape. When one end is heated to expand, the pointer is rotated, and the working instrument displays the desired temperature value.

The bimetallic thermometer temperature sensing element uses a multi-turn straight spiral bimetal. One end is fixed, the other end (free end) is connected to the mandrel, and the axial thermometer pointer is directly mounted on the mandrel. The radial type structure indicator needle is connected with the mandrel through a corner spring. When the temperature changes, the free end of the temperature sensing element rotates, and the change value of the temperature of the measured medium is indicated on the dial via the mandrel drive pointer.
