Agilent Technologies Introduces New Spectrometer

Agilent Technologies announced the introduction of the Agilent 5100 Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (icP-OES), which is ideal for laboratories conducting food, environmental, drug testing, and mining and industrial applications. Today we will introduce the new spectrometer product in detail, hoping to help users to better use the product.

Philip Binns, Agilent’s vice president of spectrum products, said: “The new system avoids the common impact of speed and stability associated with traditional two-way observation analysis. As the performance leader in the ICP-OES field, Agilent sets a new standard for industry standards. Benchmarking."

Traditional two-way observing systems require up to four consecutive measurements per sample, while the Agilent 5100 requires only one time, thanks to its innovative smart spectral combination technology and vertical torch synchronization two-way observation technology. These innovations allow customers to analyze at faster speeds, higher accuracy, and ease of use, significantly saving time and operating costs.

Philip Binns continues: "Agilent's goal has always been to provide the fastest and most efficient atomic spectroscopy system for the most complex samples. This year, with 4200 MP-AES, 7900 ICP-MS, and now 5100 ICP-OES We have continued to lead the industry in the innovation of elemental analysis, which confirms our commitment to providing the best tools based on the needs of our customers."

Philip Binns emphasized that the analysis speed of each sample on the Agilent 5100 ICP-OES is 55% faster than the competitive ICP-OES system on the market, and only 50% of the gas is required. He added: "There are no other systems on the market that can outperform the performance of the 5100 ICP-OES or its low operating cost."

With the Agilent 5100 ICP-OES, customers can develop methodologies using intuitive ICP Expert software and smart spectral combination technology. Customers can measure all wavelengths at once, with extremely high precision without any delay. The vertical torch of the Agilent 5100 ICP-OES system can handle the most challenging samples (from high matrix samples to volatile organic solvents) and the results are highly reliable.

The Agilent 5100 is available in three configurations, each equipped with a durable vertical torch, which helps customers achieve:

Synchronous Vertical Dual View (SVDV) provides the fastest analysis speed with minimal gas usage;

Vertical Dual View (VDV) provides high throughput, and for higher throughput, it can be upgraded to SVDV configuration in the field;

Radial observation (RV) is ideal for laboratories that require fast, high-performance radial ICP-OES.
